day 2 and still new

Good morning, oh, I guess its already ll, the morn is almost over. I have just been traipsing around the internet looking for interesting blogs to inspire the formulation of my own. Thanks to Megan (my 1yr long sister in law) for introducing me to dooce.com, it lightened me up and made me feel wonderfully irreverent! And it also reminded me how satisfied I am not living in LA anymore.

I created this sight yesterday and was instantaneously addicted. Who wuda thunk it? That I could create a site of my very own "in just 5 min" they said. Actually it was closer to 3 hours. I'm the kind of person that makes an effort to read the directions. But usually around half way through I get lost or bored and find myself skipping ahead, telling myself to just figure it out as I go. It usually works.

So I'd like to place a warning here to the sweet friends and family that make up my small fan club, to bear with me as I blunder my way through the construction of this sight and of my business in general. I expect I'll be making some rather dramatic changes over time. So please don't be dismayed just enjoy the change of scenery as I sort out whats going on in my head.

Don't forget to bee grateful for these tireless workers. Sorry about the pun, I couldn't help myself. This lovely squash plant blossoms at Freewheelin' Farm just north of Santa Cruz on the coast.

These are guaranteed to give you a stomach ache, they’re that good! If your in the neighborhood don’t let the summer pass without stopping by the Redman House Farm Stand just of Hwy 1 in Watsonville. Highground Organics Farm does the honors of growing these Seascape strawberries.

A barn door swings open to the strawberry fields that cover most of Windmill Farm. Ronald and Cate grow some of the best berries in Santa Cruz. Buy the best at either the Santa Cruz Downtown Market, or the Saturday Market at Cabrillo College. These farmers are well worth the trip!

Welcome to Stillman's Farm. I've fondly named this tree after the amazing, dynamic personality that is Glen Stillman. He and his lovely family live and farm in New Braintree and Lunenburg, MA.
