If you know what this show is, then its likely you've been blessed in some regard by the likes of Amy Courtney and Freewheelin' Farm. If you've no idea what I'm talking about then your in for a sweet treat!
Last year Amy and myself put our mischievous heads together to figure out a way to generate some extra funds for the farm, pay me in the process, and accomplish all this by having the most fun possible. The result...The Farm Art Show. See, I'm an artist, she's a farmer, and we know how to throw a swanky party on a farm right next to the tool shed and the duck palace. I had long wanted to have an art show myself, and had been mulling the idea over for quite some time. So when Amy and I decided to take her end of the CSA season party to a new level, it was a natural jump for us to combine our individual talents with our love for our community, throw in a few musicians, some organic brew, farm fresh tasties, and only the best art and farm folk around, and wha'la we've got the Farm Art Show Extravaganza. It was such a glowing success we knew we couldn't disappoint our loyal fans by not hosting such an event this year.
So its back and we're really excited about it. This year promises more art, more wine tasting, more live music, more gourmet food, more beer from the Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing Co., and several more surprises. We hope you will make this a yearly celebration with us, so put it on your calendar for the first Sat in Nov.

These are guaranteed to give you a stomach ache, they’re that good! If your in the neighborhood don’t let the summer pass without stopping by the Redman House Farm Stand just of Hwy 1 in Watsonville. Highground Organics Farm does the honors of growing these Seascape strawberries.

A barn door swings open to the strawberry fields that cover most of Windmill Farm. Ronald and Cate grow some of the best berries in Santa Cruz. Buy the best at either the Santa Cruz Downtown Market, or the Saturday Market at Cabrillo College. These farmers are well worth the trip!

These brilliant round globes are turnips, crisp and spicy. This beautiful produce was grown at Drumlin Farm in Lincoln, MA and taken to market in Jamaica Plain, MA.
